I installed the AMPS-4 12" kit on our 2015 4Runner above the radio, on either side of the middle clock thing. I used self tapping screws into the plastic, and it is rock solid using the XL phone mount. A huge upgrade over using those suction cup mounts to the windshield, this Anvil Overland system has no vibrations, so reading directions while traversing bumps is no issue anymore. I plan to get a handheld radio mount next and maybe through-bolt the mount to my dash, for extra piece of mind. Very high quality stuff, highly recommend.
