Strong super magnet holds the iPhone in place over the roughest trails. I much prefer a clean looking magnet grip, opposed to a clamping grip design. It is just so much more secure, easier to attach, and less obtrusive. Someone gave this attachment a terrible rating, and my only thoughts is this person is not understanding that you much have magnetic MagSafe case over your iPhone that is designed by Apple for a magnetic mount to work (he stated he was trying to attach his iPhone without the MagSafe case). My $35 third party MagSafe case I bought from Amazon holds to this mount like super glue times 100. If my phone ever detaches from this mount while driving, I know I must be in a really bad accident and I must be hurting really bad!
Overall the Mag Phone Mount works. The magnet in it could be a little stronger. I have tried with and without case and it’s about the same. Beef up the magnet inside and this thing will be flawless.

We have found that not all Magsafe cases are the same, some only have a metal ring incased in them and others have a magnet. The cases with magnets are recommended by us as they greatly increase the adhesion of the case to our mount.
I ordered from Dubai and the shipment took a while than expected but safely arrived and intimated on the delay. Installation was easy and with minimal tools. Ordered the bar, grab handles, mobile mount, walkie talkie mount and a mag safe mount, everything works perfect. Grab handles are amazing, sturdy which was beyond my expectations. Shipment charges are very high plus customs duty for the invoice value was also an unexpected expense.
The MagSafe phone mount in my jeep is a wonderful addition It makes putting the phone on and taking it with me so much easier than any kind of clamp mount.
